About the Journal

Accountable – International Journal of Accounting, Finance and Tax is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Universitas Panca Marga. The journal focuses on the development and dissemination of scholarly and professional knowledge in accounting, finance, taxation, and related interdisciplinary fields. It provides a forum for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to publish original and relevant works that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practices in these fields.

The journal publishes original research articles, theoretical and conceptual studies, case studies, literature reviews, and policy-oriented analyses. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, financial and managerial accounting, auditing and assurance, public sector accounting, accounting ethics and governance, accounting information systems, tax systems and policy, tax planning and compliance, corporate finance, capital markets and investment, international taxation, sustainability reporting, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG), as well as other related areas.

Accountable – International Journal of Accounting, Finance and Tax was first published in November 2025 and is published twice a year, in May and November. The journal is published electronically through the Open Journal System (OJS) and applies a full Open Access policy, providing unrestricted access to its published articles. All submitted manuscripts undergo a peer-review process to ensure the quality, relevance, and academic integrity of the published works.

The journal welcomes scholarly contributions from national and international authors and serves as a platform for the dissemination and exchange of research findings, theoretical perspectives, and professional insights in accounting, finance, taxation, and related fields.
