Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Accountable – International Journal of Accounting, Finance and Tax undergo an initial screening by the Editors to assess their compliance with the journal’s scientific and editorial standards as well as their alignment with the journal’s aims and scope. Only manuscripts that pass this stage will proceed to a full blind peer review. In this process, the manuscripts are evaluated by at least two expert reviewers in the relevant field. The journal implements a strict double-blind review policy, ensuring that the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are concealed from each other to maintain objectivity and fairness. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial decision will be to accept the manuscript, request revisions, or reject it.
