Abstract

The Civil Service Police Unit has an important role in enforcing regional regulations, including controlling campaign props that violate regulations. This research aims to analyze the role of the Civil Service Police Unit in the control process and the obstacles faced in its implementation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The research results show that Civil Service Police plays a role as executor in enforcing regulations related to installation, collaborating with the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) and other related parties. However, in its implementation there are various obstacles, such as lack of coordination between agencies, resistance from election participants, and limited resources. Therefore, a more effective strategy is needed, including increasing socialization of regulations, better coordination between agencies, as well as increasing the capacity of Civil Service Police Unit personnel in carrying out their duties in Probolinggo Regency.
