Abstract

Garbage  is  one  of  the  problems  faced  by  many  cities  in  Indonesia.  The  higher  the  population  and activities, the volume of waste increases. When the capacity of the trash bin exceeds the maximum limit, the trash bin must be immediately transported by a waste officer. Trash cans that are not transported immediately can cause problems such as unpleasant odors, the environment becomes dirty, rubbish piles up, this can disturb the environment and make it uncomfortable. Determining the Research Object In this research, the place used as the research object is located in Jatirejo Village, Lekok District, Suruan Regency. Observation is carried out by observing and researching current technological developments. With this  observation, it is hoped that the  author  will understand the  object to be  studied so that the author can determine the next steps. The hardware that was successfully created in this research is a microcontroller-based monitoring tool equipped with a location point system or Google Maps on the website display to indicate that the trash can is full.
