Abstract

Electricity is a crucial energy source for human life today, with solar energy emerging as one of the most promising renewable energy forms, widely adopted globally to meet the growing demand for electricity. Solar power is considered efficient due to its components, including solar modules, inverters, and batteries. The SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system plays a vital role in remotely monitoring and controlling the operation of solar power plants in real-time. This study explores the application of SCADA in monitoring and controlling solar power plant performance, providing an analysis of the system's effectiveness in improving energy management reliability and efficiency. The findings of this study demonstrate that integrating SCADA with solar power plants enhances the monitoring and control processes, minimizing operational disruptions and boosting energy production. Additionally, the study highlights the challenges and solutions related to SCADA implementation and suggests potential advancements to improve the reliability and performance of solar power plants in the future.
