In the hospitality sector, maintaining an adequate supply of water is not only important for the comfort of guests, but also for ensuring their safety. To achieve this, the hotel implements various effective water distribution and control systems. The system incorporates a high power 3 phase of water pump induction motor, separate control lines, a rooftop tank equipped with a water level sensor, and a star-delta circuit, all working together to ensure an efficient and consistent water supply throughout the hotel. In detail, a star delta circuit system is used in the installation of booster pump to drive the pump motor, to facilitate the supply of water to the rooftop tank of the hotel building. This installation technique is done to optimize the functionality and performance of the pump, enabling it to handle the required volume of water effectively. In conjunction with the star delta circuit system, the rooftop tank is also equipped with a water level sensor. These sensors play an important role in the overall water management process. When the water level reaches a certain threshold, the water level sensor sends a signal to the relay panel. In effect, the relay panel initiates a disconnection of the main contactor on the circuit panel, effectively stopping the operation of the pump motor. This interlocking mechanism ensures the water supply is properly regulated, preventing overflow or inadequate water levels in the tank . By integrating all components of this system, hotels can maintain a well-controlled and reliable water supply.
