Abstract

The integration of a Speaker Selector Systemand a Public Address Systemusing Raspberry Pi as the programming foundation  is proposed to  enhance the efficiency in  audio system  management. This research  aims  to  investigate  and  implement  a  solution  that  addresses  various  issues in speaker management, including centralized control, cost-effectiveness, scalability, and customization options. Utilizing Raspberry Pi as the primary programming platform, this research offers centralized control for multiple speakers, creating a system that is cost-effective, expandable over time, and customizable as per requirements. The use of Raspberry Pi as the brain of the system provides flexibility in managing audio sources and offers innovative solutions for handling emergency situations, such as school alarms, information  dissemination  across  various  offices,  and  providing  instructions  during  evacuation processes. The potential advantages offered by the use of Raspberry Pi in audio management and Public Address applications lay a robust foundation for an integrated system. The primary contributions of this research include the development of an efficient and controlled speaker setup model and the utilization of  Raspberry Pi  technology to  achieve higher functionalities. Therefore, this  integration not  only provides practical solutions to current audio management issues but also opens opportunities for the development and enhancement of more sophisticated systems in the future. This research could make a meaningful contribution to the field of audio technology and public announcement systems.
