Abstract

One  of  the  obstacles  farmers  facein  post-harvest  rice  is  the  drying  process.  During  this  time,  grain drying is traditionally done in the sun. Traditionally the drying process experiences problems during the rainy season, namely the lack of sunlight. In this problem,the author makes a grain dryer expected to help overcome  problems in the  grain drying process.  This system uses  Arduino Uno R3 to control temperature,  humidity  and  uses  a  heater,  blower  and  DC  motor.  This  system  works  by  receiving temperature and humidity data from the DHT22 sensor. Data from this sensor is used as a parameter to  drive  heater,  blower,  and  stirrer  actuators.  The  LCD  then  displays  the  data  as  information  on humidity and temperature conditions in the drying chamber. So it is hoped that this grain dryer can be applied in real life to help farmers in the grain drying process, especially during the rainy season.
