Abstract

This study examines the influence of job insecurity and perceived organizational support on employee engagement among millennial employees in the Madiun Residency, in the context of the growing phenomenon of quiet quitting. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey distributed to 120 respondents working across various economic sectors in the region. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted based on the Job Demands–Resources Model to determine the effects of each variable. The results indicate that job insecurity has a significant negative effect on employee engagement, while perceived organizational support exerts a significant positive influence and serves as the most dominant predictor. Together, both variables explain 52.4% of the variance in employee engagement. These findings highlight the critical role of organizational support in enhancing millennial engagement and mitigating the adverse effects of job insecurity.
