Abstract

The success of an organization is directly proportional to the quality and effectiveness of its human resources. This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment, workload, and merit pay on the performance of employees in the production department of PT Gatra Mapan Malang. The research approach used a quantitative method with data collection through questionnaires. The results showed that the work environment and merit pay had a positive effect on employee performance, while workload had a negative effect. Overall, these three variables were proven to contribute significantly to improving employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of creating a conducive work environment, managing workload proportionally, and implementing a performance-based compensation system to improve organizational effectiveness.
