Abstract

The development of the startup industry in Indonesia presents new challenges in human resource management, especially in retaining top talent amid high job mobility. In Tulungagung Regency, the growth of MSMEs and economic turnover has encouraged the emergence of various startups. However, they face the challenge of high employee turnover. One strategy that can be used to improve talent retention is through the development of strong employer branding. This study aims to analyze the influence of employer branding on talent retention in the startup industry in Tulungagung Regency. The method used is a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to startup employees in the Tulungagung Regency area. The data was analyzed using linear regression to determine the influence of various dimensions of employer branding on talent retention to continue working at the company. The results of the study show that there is an influence of employer branding on talent retention in the startup industry in Tulungagung Regency. These findings are expected to form the basis for more effective HR management strategies in the startup environment.
