Empowering Housewives in Plastic Waste Management Modeling aims to (1) increase public knowledge and awareness, (2) increase practical skills and creativity in sorting and processing plastic waste, (3) reduce waste accumulation. The involvement method uses a community empowerment approach that focuses on capacity and active development roles with the aim of positive change and consistency. Some simple and easy prototype products are plant pots made from coffee sachet packaging, diapers packaging, plastic bottles, snacks, etc. Observation results indicate that plastic waste management must be carried out with consistency, care, and public awareness. This empowerment of housewives is considered to have a positive impact on residents as an initial pilot for handling and managing plastic waste simply. The impact of this service is social improvement and economic welfare although not yet significant, increasing public health conditions, increasing the empowerment of housewives who are required and responsible for personal and group decision-making, and it is expected that new thinking, new experiences, and new policies will be created, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for waste management at RT 01 RW 09, Sukun, Malang City.
